Analog – Mute The Noise Mobile App

1. What this notice is about

The operator of the Analog – Mute The Noise mobile app (hereinafter: Analog) is Seres Botond EV (hereinafter: the Operator). This notice explains how the Operator handles data related to users of the app.

The Operator does not try to identify individual users in the course of operating Analog. To prevent fraud, the app records two identifiers: the Apple Vendor ID (IDFV) and an internal Analog Device identifier. On their own, these identifiers cannot be used to directly identify a user, and they are used solely to ensure the secure and proper functioning of the service.

The Operator processes these identifiers as a data controller under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interests). The Operator’s legitimate interest is to prevent unlawful sharing, counterfeiting, and fraudulent use of Analog Devices, and to protect the service’s business model. In its balancing test, the Operator concluded that this processing does not override users’ fundamental rights and freedoms, because the processed data alone cannot be used to directly identify any individual.

2. Operator’s details

  • Name: Seres Botond EV
  • Registered office and mailing address: Cseresznyés út 37., Szentendre, H-2000
  • Sole Proprietor Registration Number: 60442806
  • Email: info@get-analog.com

3. Data collected

When using the Analog app, the user’s device provides the following data for fraud prevention purposes:

  • Apple Vendor ID (IDFV): a unique identifier of the user’s device. It allows the Operator to ensure that no more than five Analog apps are connected to a single Analog Device at the same time.
  • Internal Analog Device identifier: a unique identifier generated by us and stored on Analog Devices. This identifier does not contain any information about the user and cannot be used in any way to link it to a person. Therefore, in the context of our data processing, we do not consider it personal data.

The purpose of collecting these data is to prevent unlawful sharing, counterfeiting, and fraudulent use of Analog Devices, and to ensure the secure operation of the service.

4. How the data is processed and used

The Operator uses the data only for the following purposes:

  • Fraud prevention and service security: based on the Apple Vendor ID, the Operator monitors that no more than five Analog apps are connected to an Analog Device at the same time.
  • Connection management: if more than five Analog apps try to connect to the same Analog Device, the system automatically disconnects the oldest connection. The disconnected app can reconnect later, but in that case the system will again disconnect the currently oldest connection.
  • Internal Analog Device identifier: this data is used solely to authenticate Analog Devices and, on its own, cannot be used to identify a user.

The Operator stores the Apple Vendor ID for as long as needed for fraud prevention or until the connection is terminated. The Analog Device identifier is inherently stored in the manufacturing registry.

The Operator does not transfer data to third countries or international organizations.

5. User Rights

Because the Operator does not store data that can directly identify individual users, some GDPR rights (such as access, correction, or deletion of personal data) may be technically limited. However, users still have the following rights:

  • Right to information: users can request information about the data processed by the Operator by emailing info@get-analog.com.
  • Right to object: users may object to the processing based on legitimate interests. The Operator will review any such objection.
  • Right to lodge a complaint: users may file a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH):

6. Data Security

The Operator ensures the security of the data and implements appropriate technical measures to protect the data that is collected, stored, and processed. The Operator takes all reasonable steps to prevent data loss, unauthorized access, and unauthorized alteration.

7. Other Provisions

The Operator reserves the right to amend this notice unilaterally.

This notice is effective from 7 August 2026.
